i hope to have a few new designs ready by then

and some items for the cooler weather

the market is fully booked with over 50 stalls so it should be a good day out

i decided earlier in the year to try my luck at wholesale, well one order anyway. to a little shop in canberra called miss chief maker. katie, the owner was a pleasure to deal with and although it was a little hard finding the time to make all of the items (cropped jackets, smock tops and denim pinafores ranging from size 2 to size 8) i did enjoy it.

the photographer from my wedding rohan anderson is publishing a book project for photography/design/graphics and illustrations called project 200. basically anyone is invited to submit their art and as soon as 200 are selected the book will be printed.

feeling festive?

I spent the weekend making things for the upcoming market 3031 in Kensington on the 12th December. As its so close to Christmas I thought it may be a good idea to have some festive items. Here's a look at the first lot.

today I have been featured in the baby gift guide, an australian baby gift directory for parents. i am having a 10% off sale in november as part of the etsy kids santa sleigh ride sale and this is featured in the baby gift guide. along with a very cute photo of my niece!

Kookie

I've just been featured on the Kookie Blog as I have just joined the team on etsy called Kookie Kids - a team dedicated to sellers from Australia that have predominately children's items.

Kookie was created in 2008 by Victoria of Tida Bella Monkey. The aim is to throw support and awareness of Australia's talent in the one simple to use and easy to find directory of Australian hand made creations.

visited my nieces yesterday and managed to get a couple of shots of a new item on daisy. it took a lot of coaxing though!

Last week was the 1st Northside Makers Market in Northcote. I had a great time and had quite a few sales.

Tomorrow I am doing another market in Heathmont at the Heathmont Baptist Church Family Fun Day. Hopefully it will be as successful.

I've made quite a few new items for the market which i'll be posting on both etsy and madeit in the coming days. I'm trying to focus on summer dresses and more items for boys!
